Prescience, serendipity or also known as blatant Internet abuse
Found whilst abusing the Internets at work:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open it to page 161.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.
"Q: Is it an exaggeration to say that the fate of the world is hanging in the balance?"
- U.N. radio interview, June 16, 1950, recored in the study of Einstein's Princeton, N.J. Home, Albert Einstein: Ideas and Opinions
N.B: Ok, where would I be without some semblance of unethical behaviour? Technically, there were several books which were at equidistance to me: My CFA Schweser Level 1, Book 2 notes; a nutraceutical conference event guide and the EIU Thailand Country Profile 2006, which technically isn't a book.
5th sentence, page 161, Schweser notes had this to offer:
(A country with a comparative advantage over another country....)
D. has lower labour costs available to the majority of its domestic producers
(Wrong. Answer is A. can produce a product at lower opportunity cost.
And people say an Economics degree is worthless)
5th sentence, page 161, event guide:
"FDG-Pharmadiet Group". Obviously, this was an exhibitor. Why couldn't it have been "Labialfarma" instead? Muahaha- "Labialfarma" (which is an actual name of an actual company, by the way). While I laughed myself silly when we arrived at the Labialfarma booth, my colleague stared blankly (whilst probably thinking why the organisation decided it fit to hire a maniac such as yours truly) and asked "What? Labialfarma...so?"
God, my sense of humour hasn't quite breached puberty yet. But, seriously- Labialfarma! Muahahahahaha!
Anyway, ahem...soldiering on- EIU Thailand Country Profile only runs to 53 pages so it can't count.
